Ciara Huot, LPCI am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master's degree in 2017 from Liberty University. I spent 4 years in the United States Navy as a Seabee, and have worked for various non-profits, before working in private practice in 2017. I have a passion for helping people from all walks of life. I strive to provide a non-judgmental environment and meets all individuals I encounter, with unconditionally positive regard. My goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of themselves and their emotions. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked with individuals coping with, but not limited to, life changes, grief and loss, trauma domestic violence, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, and have experience working with veterans, activity duty military, and military spouses. I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling including Person Centered Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When I'm not working, you can find me snuggling with my fur babies or off on an adventure.
