George Cooper, LCSWI am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi – GO EAGLES. I have 14 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have been a counselor at Gulf Coast Psychotherapy since 2017. I Specializes in Depression, Marital and Family Counseling, LGBTQIA+ Issues, Alternative Lifestyles, Anxiety, PTSD, Minors and Adults, ADHD Assessments and Substance Abuse Treatment. I have an eclectic approach, choosing a treatment method that best serves my clients needs. Being LGBTQIA+ and being raised in the south has taught me the importance of acceptance and compassion, and these two values are what my clients get from Day 1. Seeing all my clients grow and change is truly what I love most about being a mental health professional. When I am not at the office, you can find me at home snuggling with my fur babies.
